The mission of our confirmation program is to provide a caring and nurturing environment to help middle school youth grow in their Christian faith and better understand what it means to be a Lutheran Christian. While we recognize that our entire life is one of growth in discipleship, we formally provide instruction for youth beginning in 7th grade so they can publicly affirm their faith in May of their 9th grade year. As a church we want to support and encourage parents in their calling to be the primary teachers of the Christian faith.
Seventh grade meets Wednesdays 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. The first 55 minutes they meet in large group with a pastor. The remainder of the time is spent in small group with an adult guide where students share highs and lows and discuss the lesson.
