One of the missions of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is to welcome all people to faith in Jesus Christ, as it reads in our mission statement. This mission is outlined in the Bible, in the passage in Matthew you just read (cited above). This high calling is so important to our mission as individual Christians, and to the collective mission of the church. It is a mission outlined by Jesus himself, to his disciples - but it also surely speaks to us in our lives today.

In honor of our grand calling, the Evangelism team has created a new program to help us achieve this mission in Christ. Narthex Neighbors is a new organization of individuals committed to making sure visitors of HTLC are warmly welcomed. Our emphasis is on how we welcome: in Christian love and kindness, in the spirit of Christ, and for His purposes - in honor of our Great Commission.
